Driven by our passion for international flavours, we, Rob and Rahul, created Saha Cuisine to bring the taste of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian dishes to Canadians. Saha is an Arabic word meaning ?to your health,? and accordingly we pride ourselves on using only the best ingredients available ? all natural, and free of additives and preservatives. This allows us to offer products that are trans-fat, gluten and cholesterol free. Our line includes red and green Thai curries, as well as shawarma and shish taouk marinades.

Lahmajoun 
As with most Middle Eastern dishes, the origins of lahmajoun is much debated, and is thought to originate from the Ottoman Empire, or from early Syrian and Armenian cuisine. Today, it is a common food item in Armenia, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

Shawarma 
Shawarma has many variants across the globe, and is generally named after the preparation method. In Greece, it is called gyros (pronounced yee-ros), meaning "turned," In Armenia, it is called tarna, meaning "to turn," and in Turkey is called dôner kebab, meaning "turning kebab."

A staple of southern Thailand, red curry paste is an ingredi­ent in many different Thai dishes. It gains its namesake colour from the Thai red chilies that also lend it a robust character.
