MINI BIO
I graduated from Ryerson's Fashion Design program and had been working as a designer for 7 years prior to the start of Truth. I chose belts because at that time (2001) belts had just made a huge come back. I realized I could sell them and belts were a small enough item that I could run the business from my home. Because I had never worked with leather, I used anything but. Today Truth products are sold internationally and the belts are the number one favorite among vegans and vegetarians. All the products are made in Ontario.
