The unique style of jeweler Claudine Moncion comes from a rigorous approach gained through her academic studies as well as numerous training and internships in jewelry schools. In addition to holding a Master of Architecture from the University of Montreal, Claudine received training at the Contemporary Jewelery School Alchimia in Florence, El Taller Jewelery Workshop in Barcelona, and at the Brooklyn BKMW Jewelery School. Her style is full of architectural references in addition to merging classic and contemporary styles. Originally from Gatineau Quebec, Claudine now develops her own collections in her workshop in Montreal. Her current production AG47 + Cu29, is made entirely of copper and sterling silver. This collection presents the color contrasts between the materials and their distinct transformation through time. Her minimalist and geometric jewelery diverges from the human body organic forms emphasizing the opposition concept.
