Becca Pereira, who is behind the popular Toronto food brand Spice Girl Eats, has created her first product; Chai Concentrate. Chai, known as one of South Asia's most popular drinks, can now be easily enjoyed in the comfort of your home and within minutes. Her Chai Concentrate uses a recipe from her great-grandmother's cookbook, a well-rounded spice blend of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, and peppercorn. It’s simmered among lots of fresh ginger and Indian Assam tea until reduced, enhancing its flavor into a densely packed concoction. It can then be easily mixed with any type of milk and served hot or cold.
