I graduated with a Fine Arts Degree which led to my interest in design and craft. Then, I worked as an Elementary school teacher for 30 years, with specialist qualifications and experience in Primary education. As an educator, I have a professional understanding of early childhood development. I am fundamentally aware of the need for children to have toys that encourage open and explorative play. This is the reason why I started making toys. Wooden toys promote sensory play, creativity and connect the child to the natural world. My toys are made for durability and safety and provide an eco-smart, natural product to be enjoyed for generations.
