Olivia Hamza is a French-Canadian Egyptian oil painter. Originally from Montreal, she studied oil painting techniques for Realism and Surrealism during apprenticeships with many renowned international artists. Her work; oil paintings of traditional and fantastic themes painted in a dark surrealist style, radiates quiet intimacy and optimism. Through these Olivia studies identity, its roots, the forces that shape it, and its possibilities. Her work has been exhibited internationally including at the contemporary arts museum the Museo de Arte Conteporáneo MARCO in Mexico, and galleries across Europe and the U.S.
