Chantelle Saulon is an emerging artist exploring faith through expressive brushstrokes. She creates original acrylic paintings and fine art prints of nature's quiet beauty. With a background in graphic design, her artistic style leans towards simplicity and abstract form. In search of something tangible and organic, Chantelle began painting in 2020 as an outlet during her studies in the pixel-perfect world of design. Those design systems influence her painting approach today. Passionate about the creative process, she continues to explore dynamic compositions and recognizable brushwork, evolving her inspiration through layers of iteration. Chantelle aims to share in the awe and grace she feels in nature– worship. She aspires for each painting to resonate with feelings of hope and prompt reflection for those who collect them. Painting has become a metaphor for her faith, teaching the importance of wonder and perseverance. It has allowed her to articulate her beliefs and connect with others on heartfelt experiences in a simple way. There is nothing new under the sun, but with each sunset painted comes a new way to remember God’s faithfulness. She is currently cultivating her artistic voice “little by little”. Becoming known for her small-sized canvases, Chantelle is enjoying the creative process of developing a cohesive body of work. With each piece, she navigates her artistic journey, sharing her discoveries and insights along the way.
