Saltwinds Coffee is recreating the way coffee used to taste when it first came to Canada on wooden sailing ships in the 1800s. In those days, as the coffee sailed up from southern ports to Canadas east coast, the salty sea air soaked into the coffee beans, changing the way it tasted.
