Hi! I'm Nancy and I'm the maker behind Freon Collective. Freon Collective is a low-waste lifestyle brand based out of Toronto, ON. With a background in sewing and design, I decided to tackle the issue of overconsumption and waste seen in my former career(s) by making one product reusable: reusable cotton rounds. In 2019, I sold our first sets of reusable cotton rounds handmade from 100% organic cotton. Since then, we've diverted hundreds of thousands of disposable cotton rounds from the landfill, and have also been able to introduce a handful of reusable and low-waste products into the brand. Our products are all handmade by myself, and our designs are printed with a digital printing process using only plant-based dyes and inks. We design each product purposefully to eliminate as much textile waste as possible and where we can't use materials, we make sure to repurpose by donating our scraps to local textile re-use programs.
