Shelly Purdy is an award-winning Toronto-based jewellery designer/goldsmith whose collections are uniquely Canadian and celebrate everything from the love of a lifetime to personal achievements. Shelly was one of the privileged few to be invited to tour the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories at the inception of the Canadian diamond industry which has become an integral part of her brand. She is the exclusive designer of the Seasons Collection for Maple Leaf Diamonds, Canada’s largest Canadian diamond brand, which is available in Canada, the United States, and the U.K. in select retail jewellery stores. Shelly was a featured international designer in Rio Tinto’s “Diamonds with a Story” campaign, representing Canada’s Diavik Diamond Mine, winner of the Centurion Emerging Designer and Debeers Diamonds Today awards. Her work is regularly featured in national and international press and she is on the Professional Advisory Board of George Brown College Jewellery Program. Shelly is a member of the Canadian Jewellers Association and is available by appointment at her retail studio on The Esplanade in Toronto's St Lawrence Market District.
