Artisan Profile

Hello,
I am Suta, sustainable textile artist. I make handmade jackets from upcycled vintage quilts. I have been sewing and making jackets for friends and family for past few years and taken the passion into business for three years now. I love making unique one of a kind wearable art piece from my hand-picked vintage quilts. For couple of years I was trying my hands on summer dresses by using all deadstock patchwork cotton fabrics and this year I am hoping to bring a small collection in my market days. The fabrics add an artful element to the jacket and patterns I work with are functional also at the same time elevates the personality.
