Julie Verfaillie’s path reflects resilience and creativity. Initially a jazz singer trained at Collège Lionel Groulx, she redirected her passion to visual arts following a vocal injury, earning a degree from Concordia University in 2011. By 2014, Julie was fully immersed in jewelry making, with nature’s healing elements as her core inspiration. She champions eco-friendly practices, using recycled materials and ethical stones, and opened her Montreal boutique in 2018 to connect directly with her clients. Venturing into lapidary arts and cutting precious stones in 2020,

Organic Oval Labradorite Ring
A delicate ring with a mesmerizing Labradorite cabochon. The stone is cut by Julie and was sourced around 50 years ago in Nain, Labrador, where this mineral was discovered. The ring balances sleek minimalism with more organic and rustic textures on the bezel. All handmade by Julie Verfaillie.

A beautiful and elegant minimalist pendant showcasing the extremely rare "moss in snow" nephrite jade from the Jeffrey Mine in Val-des-Sources, QC (formerly Asbestos). The pendant is handmade from recycled silver and the cabochon is cut by Julie.

An elegant minimalist ring with a large domed band that adorns a beautiful Flame Agate cabochon from Scot's Bay, Nova Scotia. The ring is handmade with recycled sterling silver and the cabochon is cut by Julie. She also sourced the stone herself in summer 2025 on a trip to Nova Scotia.

Organic Labradorite on Branch Ring
An organic, botanically inspired silver ring with a beautiful Labradorite cabochon. The stone sourced around 50 years ago in Nain, Labrador, where this mineral was discovered. The cabochon was cut by Julie. The band is made from a mold of a basswood branch.

A unique pendant that evokes the landscapes of the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, where Julie found this agate she cut into a cabochon. The wavy patterns above the triangular bezel are engraved by hand It is entirely handmade with recycled Sterling and Fine Silver and 10k Gold beads.

Made from imprints of a fern leaf separated into segments. Reproduced in wax and cast into silver with the lost wax technique.

Ash Tree Bark Ring 9mm
This ring was made with the lost wax technique. I took a piece of found bark on the ground and made a silicone mould. I then transformed the wax cast into a silver ring. Each ring is slightly different but always as beautiful. 100% Sterling silver with patina to put emphasis on the texture.It is pretty thick (1.5mm-2.25mm) but really comfortable because of the inner angle.The width varies from approximatly 6-9mm
