In 1986, Danny graduated from Sheridan college for fine jewelry design. Soon after he would be hired as an apprentice to a Toronto costume jewelry designer that would teach him the skills he uses today.
Very recognizable, his work is imaginative and graphic with a twist of strange and beautiful. Using Antique Glass from West Germany and Czechoslovakia with the latest colours by Swarovski Crystals, they are mixed with vintage brass and pewter castings.
Known for selling only at art & craft shows, this designer sells to many women from early teens to classically refined, from as south as Windsor to as north as Sudbury. Toronto, which has his biggest following, and his place of residence, can be found selling at 6 art events each year through out the city and up to 20 more across Ontario. In his 25 year career as an artist, he has seen how special and sentimental his pieces have become to his clients, which is why he offers lifetime repair if a breakage occurs. He believes costume jewelry is wearable art and should be worn with enjoyment.
Being one to sell with intimacy, Danny provides great customer service. He believes he pieces deserve to tried on for style and comfort, and with his mirror and comical instructions, his honest intuition will tell women if the piece enhances her or not. Such shopping can only be made in person, therefore there is no online business and his love of travel and meeting new people prohibits him from having a store.
