Artisan Profile

My name is Tungaa Johnstone. Originally from Mongolia, I live and work in Toronto. I am a mother of two wonderful young men and the wife of an incredibly smart and funny guy. I am also a business owner.

One of my greatest passions is fashion. I love beautiful accessories. And I believe strongly that as producers we should minimize our environmental footprint. To that end, for the last two years, I have been working on developing my own natural felt bag line. I work from home in Toronto. All my suppliers - of felt, leather and hardware - are local Toronto small businesses.

I love being a small business owner and am passionate about small-batch production. I am keen to offer my bags directly to discerning consumers at the ONEOFAKINDSHOW in December alongside other creative small business owners.
