Fine Jewellery
Viyan Petekkaya is a Kurdish-Canadian jewellery artist and current Artist-in-Residence at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. Her practice moves between concept-driven inquiry and process-led, intuitive making. Approaching jewellery as both a wearable form and an autonomous sculpture, she explores the expressive potential of abstract form, examining how lines, curves, sculptural volumes, and negative space can convey emotion and serve as visual metaphors. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Munich Jewellery Week (2026) and the Tucson Gem Show (2025).
