Axe To Grind Foods is a woman-owned, Nova Scotian specialty brand - manufacturing Popcorn Toppings, Drink Rimmers and Spice Blends. Known for their bold flavour, smart blends, and a refreshingly practical approach to cooking, Axe To Grind builds versatility into their blends. One blend can give you several culinary options.
Founded by Cynthia Kennedy, Axe To Grind Foods creates small-batch blends, made with carefully curated, high quality, fresh, aromatic spices and herbs. They are designed to simplify cooking using clean ingredients, ( no MSG or additives, low or no sodium) and deliver great flavour and versatility.
What began in 2019 as a fundraiser for Canada's National Double Bit Axe Throwing Team has grown into a respected food brand trusted by home cooks, busy families, restaurants and bars and chefs.
Axe To Grind works with a social enterprise co-packer (CFIA cert.) to support employment for folks experiencing barriers to employment.
