Nathan Keil is the carver and artist behind Come From Away Carvings. Nathan was born and raised in rural Ontario before moving to Newfoundland in his 20’s for school.
There, inspired by the natural beauty of Canadas east coast and his love of hand tools, he taught himself wood carving.
Over the last nearly decade, Nathan has grown his craft and business in St. John’s Newfoundland, bringing east coast themes to his artwork.
From one-of-a-kind bark carvings and relief carved landscapes, to life sized delicate wooden sculptures, Nathan brings to life the heart and soul of coastal living.
