Jennifer Franki-Smith is a proud Tłı̨chǫ woman who was born and raised in Yellowknife, NT, where she is now raising her two beautiful daughters. In the fall of 2022, she launched a small business creating wrap-beaded keychains and lanyards. Inspired by her own love for wearing lanyards at work, Jennifer began designing unique pieces with various colour combinations that add a personal touch to everyday workwear. Jennifer has since expanded her creative pursuits by making earrings using traditional materials such as smoked hide, porcupine quills, antler, and seed beads. Her work reflects a deep connection to her culture and a passion for artistic expression.
