VANCOUVER, British Columbia
Colleen Stewart of Kids Canada designed the original coat as a kids coat. The Coat was so popular as a kids coat that she started making it as a women's coat in about 2015. I met Colleen at the Circle Craft market in Vancouver November 2024. I was an exhibitor across the walk way and watched as she sold That Coat over and over again. Colleen said that she was thinking of retiring so I bought That Coat.
It is a great coat!
It is made from ethically sourced material that is breathable, wind proof and waterproofed with a plant based waterproofing. The zippers come from YKK zippers in Montreal. The coats are made in a small factory in Vancouver and the finishing and done by me.
