Originally from the shores of Lake Memphremagog in the Estrie region, Lyne Levesque is a Quebec sculptor specializing in nautical art and custom creations. With over 25 years of experience in interior design, she began a second career four years ago devoted entirely to sculpting sailboats from driftwood, each piece resculpted and hand-sanded with meticulous care.
Her work is distinguished by an exceptional mastery of material, a profound artistic sensitivity, and an intimate understanding of the maritime world. Every sculpture is conceived as a unique piece, shaped with precision and intention, allowing the wood to reveal its story through elegant lines and refined balance.
Blending artisanal craftsmanship with a high-end aesthetic, Lyne creates works for collectors and sea lovers seeking more than a decorative object — they seek meaning, authenticity, and a connection to time and tide.
Inspired by the great lakes — including Lake Ontario and Lac Beauport — she sculpts distinctive sailboats where water, wood, and time converge, giving rise to creations that feel forever ready to set sail.
